The Toyota brand introduced an all-new Toyota vehicle at the Chicago Auto Show on February 8th. This new Toyota SUV is called the Toyota Grand Highlander and features three rows along with the title "ultimate road tripper."
According to the Toyota Newsroom, 44 other Toyota vehicles were in the Toyota exhibit at the Chicago Auto Show, with models ranging "from production vehicles to NASCAR properties to SEMA specialty products…".
Also introduced were three new production vehicles – a revamped 2023 Toyota Prius, the first-ever 2023 Toyota GR Corolla, and the stand-out 2023 Toyota Crown. Drivers were also shown the HYBRID MAX powertrain system, which is the Toyota brand's new performance hybrid combination. It comes in the Platinum trim level of the Toyota Crown and is ready to move with up to 240-horsepower while earning up to 38 MPG.
During the event, the Toyota automaker hosted a "fully interactive Toyota Sports Festival…with versatile events and combine-style activities for participants to show off their skills." This impressive arena contained many different Olympic and Paralympic options, with a sports court for wheelchair basketball, photo opportunities with USA Swimming and USA Speedskating athletes, a skate park, and much more.
There was also "An Electrified Drive For All Seasons" drive course, which had four-season areas to show off how each hybrid vehicle handles every season.
